The man who invented the business of networks. This is how we can define the next guest at the Dinars de Futur that will take place next Thursday, May 4. Luis de Val is the founder of YouPlanet, the first influencer representation agency in Spain that, over time, has also become a benchmark in influencer marketing and has returned to the family sector of film production and distribution. The audiovisual world is the one that has led him to the media, with the exclusive distribution in Spain of the film awarded at the Oscars this year, All at once everywhere.

During the meeting, De Val will share with the attendees some curiosities about YouPlanet, he will talk about how the influencer world has become a great marketing tool and how the famous youtuber AuronPlay was the revelation of his entrepreneurial project. Without forgetting the Oscars that will accompany him, from now on, throughout his business journey thanks to the distribution of the award-winning Best Film, Everything at the same time everywhere.

De Val, son of the renowned film distributor Luis de Val (Manga Films), began his career in the world of cinema as a producer. With the intention of avoiding family comparisons, he decided to bet on production with the film FBI: Geeks Looking to Bother. Although he considers the film his most profitable film to date, with a low budget and a sale of 300,000 DVDs, he acknowledges that he started at the bottom.

The 2010 crisis made him return to work with his father in film distribution. It was then that he unknowingly discovered the potential of influencers: it occurred to him to hire the youtuber AuronPlay to dub a character, and with two sentences he will attract more than 4,000 spectators to the Girona Cinemas to see a French comedy. This phenomenon was the key to his entrepreneurial project that he founded in 2015 and with which he has achieved success, the You Planet agency.
