Barcelona, June 29, 2026 – AIJEC, the Catalan Association of Young Entrepreneurs, has announced the finalists for a new edition of the Young Entrepreneur Award, Catalonia’s leading distinction recognizing the talent, innovative capacity and business impact of the region’s young entrepreneurs.
Adrià Argemí, Co-founder and CEO of Pangea Propulsion; Beatriz Mesas, Co-founder of Incapto Coffee; and Pablo Linz, Founder and CEO of Immfly, are the three candidates competing for the 33rd Young Entrepreneur Award.
In the Best Business Initiative Award category, which recognizes the most innovative business idea with the greatest growth potential, the three finalists in this 33rd edition are Aurax, Mica Eco and FetaLife Technologies.
The finalists will present their projects to the jury on July 16. The winners will be announced during the awards ceremony, which will take place on the evening of September 14 at the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona. Through these awards, AIJEC seeks to recognize the dedication, perseverance and achievements of young entrepreneurs who create jobs, drive innovation and contribute to the country’s economic and social development.
The remaining award categories include several special recognitions, most notably the Lifetime Achievement Award, which this year will be presented to Jaume Alsina, Honorary Chairman and Founder of Corporació Alimentària Guissona (bonÀrea).
As in previous editions, awards will also be presented in the categories of Future Business, aimed at secondary school students, Business Language Excellence, and Social Entrepreneurship.

Adrià Argemí
Adrià Argemí is Co-founder and CEO of Pangea Propulsion, a European company founded in Barcelona that specializes in the development of advanced space propulsion systems. Beatriz Mesas
Beatriz Mesas is Co-founder of Incapto Coffee, a Catalan company transforming the way people consume coffee. The company offers an alternative to traditional coffee capsules based on premium whole-bean coffee and bean-to-cup technology, combining sustainability, innovation and an outstanding user experience for both households and businesses.

Pablo Linz
Pablo Linz is Founder and CEO of Immfly, a technology company specializing in digital solutions that enhance the passenger experience while also improving cabin crew operations and airline efficiency. Aurax
Aurax is a Barcelona-based deep-tech startup developing advanced assistive technology to enhance the digital independence of people with physical disabilities. Its flagship product, MouthX, is an intraoral device that enables users to control computers, smartphones and other digital systems through subtle movements of the tongue, jaw and head.

Mica Eco
Mica Eco transforms household water consumption data into social value through artificial intelligence. Its technology promotes more sustainable habits, improves water resource management and develops support tools for vulnerable communities.
The project stands out for combining sustainability, technological innovation and social impact, helping address some of today’s major environmental and demographic challenges.
FetaLife Technologies
FetaLife Technologies is a Catalan biomedical company developing a liquid fetal incubator designed to improve the survival and development of extremely premature babies.
Its technology replicates the conditions of the mother’s womb during the first weeks of life for extremely premature infants, with the aim of reducing medical complications and improving long-term quality of life. It is one of the most innovative healthcare projects developed in Catalonia in recent years.
Catalonia’s Leading Entrepreneurship Awards
The finalists for the Young Entrepreneur Award and the Best Business Initiative Award will present their projects before a jury made up of representatives from leading public and private business institutions, as well as editors from Catalonia’s leading local media outlets.
The jury will meet on July 16, and the winners in the various categories will be announced during the awards ceremony on the afternoon of September 14 at Barcelona’s Palau de la Música Catalana.
