The AIJEC has participated in a meeting with the Generalitat of Catalonia focused on the growth of the digital sector in the territory and the challenges associated with the availability of specialized talent.
During the session, which took place this Monday, January 26 at the Ministry of Business and Employment, the Generalitat shared the need to guarantee the training, retention and attraction of digital talent required by companies, as well as to align the needs of the business fabric with the development of this talent. In this context, the promotion of the National Pact for Digital Talent was announced, which is expected to be presented before the summer.
The AIJEC responded to the questions raised by the Secretariat of Digital Policies on the lines of action that the future Plan should prioritize. Likewise, the entity conveyed the importance of addressing the challenge of digital talent from a more comprehensive vision, incorporating key aspects such as taxation and the simplification of bureaucracy as essential elements to promote business competitiveness.
