Born in Chicago but very close to Alp, in Cerdanya —where her father is originally from—, Batlle grew up between two cultures. This experience has given her an open mind that has helped her better understand diversity and the importance of connecting people.

In front of more than 70 businessmen and women, Batlle shared her career and the meaning of Juno House: a project that draws on the energy experienced in New York —a city where dreams have no roof and where the entrepreneurial spirit is rooted— and the need to create a community with purpose in Barcelona.

Within the framework of the AIJEC meeting, the entrepreneur noted that Juno House is not only a physical space, but also a way to relate and grow together. “Entrepreneurship is contagious,” she said, and that is why she defends that Juno is a springboard for female talent and a bridge between local and international women. Her message connects with the AIJEC mission of creating community and generating real opportunities for its members.

In this sense, Batlle insisted that true value comes from connection and complicity: “I firmly believe in the power of community, of networking with purpose.” And, addressing the women present in particular, she encouraged them not to resign themselves to the lack of role models: “If you don’t find a woman role model in your field, look for one in another country or even in other disciplines… You could end up being that role model for the women of the future.”
A firm step by AIJEC

Batlle’s incorporation aligns with AIJEC’s objective of increasing the presence and visibility of women entrepreneurs and managers. According to the GEM 2024-2025 in Catalonia, the Entrepreneurial Activity Rate (TEA) is 9.8% for men and 7.5% for women. Although these figures are an improvement over the previous year, they still highlight the need to strengthen resources and initiatives to balance the ecosystem.

As a strategic advisor, Batlle will act as a bridge between emerging entrepreneurship and established companies, promoting strategic alliances and also involving men committed to generating a real impact in projects led by women.
Joining eyes to grow

The alliance between AIJEC and Juno House connects with the mission of the new AIJEC board: to rejuvenate, energize and open up to the world, consolidating a community that is committed to innovation, digitalization and the balance between professional and personal life.

The president and founder of Juno House sums it up with a clear and forceful idea: “Juno is not a fad, it is a movement”, a philosophy that permeates her entire career and that now also inspires her collaboration with AIJEC.

With this new step, AIJEC reinforces its commitment to a more diverse, inclusive and international business ecosystem, where each professional finds a space to grow and share experiences. An environment where talent adds up, diverse perspectives complement each other and new generations take over with strength.
