The president of AIJEC, Vicenç del Mar, has taken on a vice presidency at Foment del Treball in the new leadership term headed by Josep Sánchez Llibre, who this Monday was re-elected president of the Catalan employers’ association for a new four-year mandate.
Del Mar succeeds Ruben Sans in the position, thereby reinforcing the continued presence of AIJEC within the country’s main business representation bodies. With this appointment, AIJEC continues strengthening the voice of the new generations of entrepreneurs within Catalonia’s economic and institutional decision-making bodies.
In this new term, Sánchez Llibre has placed productivity, business competitiveness, tax reform, the fight against absenteeism, housing, and infrastructure among his main priorities.
Foment’s new executive board will also include Joan Roget Alemany (Fedequim), Lluís Moreno Lasalle (CCOC), Baldiri Ros Prat (Institut Agrícola Català Sant Isidre), Elisabeth Cañigueral Borrás (Grup Cañigueral), Santiago García-Nieto Conde (CONFECAT), Jaume Roura Calls (UPM), Xavier Panés Sancho (CECOT), Cinta Pascual Montañés (ACRA), Gerard Esteva Viladecans (UFEC), Joan Guillén Espín (Consell de Gremis de Comerç), Mar Alarcón Batlle (Social Car), Josep Maria Gardeñes Solans (COELL), Ernest Plana Larrousse (FOEG), and Xavier Rigau Mas (FOET).
