AIJEC present at the closing ceremony of the 4th Fepime Congress

Congres FEPIME Cloenda

This Tuesday, June 15, the closing ceremony of the 4th Congress organized by Fepime and in which the AIJEC has participated took place. The Catalan small and medium-sized business association has valued the work carried out during the 22 meetings they have had with sectoral and territorial business organisations, including AIJEC, and has proposed that micro-enterprises and SMEs come together to be competitive.

The difficulties in finding qualified personnel, the improvement of relations with public administrations, the need for aid, digitization processes, sustainability or the lack of infrastructures that improve the competitiveness of companies, have been some of the problems present in all work sessions. During the act, in which the president of AIJEC Joves Empresaris, Ruben Sans, and the vice-president of the entity, Estefania González Campins, participated, it was once again highlighted what was said during the meeting with members of AIJEC, the role of young entrepreneurs, digital natives, as a lever to get out of the crisis. And the importance for companies of intangibles such as equipment, technology or training.

During the event, the need to increase the size of SMEs was highlighted and an action plan was announced to strengthen the productive fabric and for companies to increase their size, with the aim of increasing the number of SMEs with more than 50 workers in 2030.
