On Tuesday, May 23, we premiered a new afterwork format at CASA SEAT. An encounter in which to share experiences giving special prominence to the person behind the entrepreneur. From AIJEC we were very clear that the inauguration this Tuesday at CASA SEAT had to be led by Carlos Duran. The co-founder of hoy-voy, and the last Premio Joven Empresario, has all the necessary ingredients to make an event like the one we live on Tuesday a success: naturalness, fun and personality.
Our guest opened the doors of his car, to go through a part of his vital and entrepreneurial journey together with all the attendees. And he did it with a luxury co-pilot like Pau Garcia-Milà, who knew how to guide Duran through the most unexpected places until he got to talking about today’s entrepreneurial seed, artificial intelligence and the non-business of Arroz Rojo, the group of music by Carlos Duran.
Between half jokes and many truths, the emotion surfaced many times in the voice of our protagonist. Like when Duran confessed that there were few things that would excite him as much as seeing his personal and professional journey in the commemorative video of the #PremiJoveEmpresari. Or when García-Milán did not hide how he was moved by one of the songs of Arroz Rojo. Thus, with the connection of two friends who drank more than one glass of wine together, the circle of conversation was closed.
The event ended with a last gift from our guest to all attendees: the first acoustic version of Arroz Rojo with three songs with a positive message between roads and travel slogans. The perfect way to end a martes con amigos.
