The president of the AIJEC, Ruben Sans, participated this Tuesday in the Youth Commission of the Parliament of Catalonia to explain first-hand how young entrepreneurs are experiencing this crisis. During his intervention, the president of the AIJEC has demanded more planning from the administrations to minimize uncertainties, the freezing of taxes and the moratorium on their payment, as well as new aid for job creation.

Sans has vindicated the figure of business as a generator of employment and has highlighted the role of young entrepreneurs to create a job that is now more necessary than ever among the group of young people. The president of the AIJEC wanted to make it clear during his speeches that young entrepreneurs are necessary and that we commit to continue fighting to carry out our projects as we have always done, with drive, with a spirit of improvement and without giving up.

The headlines of the hearing:

—We do not complain about the good formation. The failure is in the educational system, overtraining is not a problem, the problem is that as a country we do not generate enough employment for these well-trained young people, who should end up leaving.

—Let us not forget that those who generate employment are companies, entrepreneurs, the self-employed and liberal professionals.

— Small and medium-sized companies are just as important as large companies because they are the ones that distribute employment throughout the territory.

— Taxes are necessary but increasing them at the moment or creating new ones does not help the disastrous situation we are experiencing.

— Young people create companies and hire workers and this generates employment. Young people can be part of the solution.

—Let’s stop stigmatizing entrepreneurs and companies. We value the work that we do as a group of entrepreneurs. In 2021 this no longer touches.
